The Manhattan Declaration

From Conservapedia

The Manhattan Declaration is a Christian initiative, organized out of a September 2009 meeting in Manhattan (New York City) among Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, Anglican, and Evangelical religious leaders.

The Declaration is not an ecumenical statement on any matter of theology, but a statement of solidarity to speak with one voice on the most pressing moral issues of our day. Specifically the Declaration discussed three major issues: the sanctity of human life, the dignity of marriage as a union of husband and wife, and the freedom of conscience and religion.
