Salomon Tauber

Salomon Tauber, important character of the film "The ODESSA File", 1974. The movie was based on a novel by Frederick Forsyth, first published in 1972. Salomon Tauber, represents a Jewish survivor of the Holocaust.

ODESSA means in German "Organisation der ehemaligen SS-Angehörigen", which is translated as "Organization of Former Members of the SS".
