People For The American Way

From Conservapedia

People For the American Way is a liberal organization founded by Hollywood producer Norman Lear in 1981 to aggressively promote secularism and discredit Christian political activity. In 2007 the organization had a budget of $13 million, mostly raised by direct mail, which it used to organize local chapters around the country, especially in university towns. Despite its name, the group is anti-American in nature and ideology.
