Bhasra is a small village of 278 hectares in Tanda Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhasra depends on Tanda (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals. Bhasra is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhasra's pin code is 224190[4], and village code is 06019300. The area of Bhasra is segregated as , 13.69 hectares unirrigated area. the 8.44 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 24.15 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bhasra is a census village in the district of Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1515 and has total administration over 254 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 343 male, 271 female with 353 (57.49%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 308 males and 45 females. 180 males and 16 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 71 male and 17 female agricultural labor. 261 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tanda (MB) and Ambedkar Nagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
