Trump Endorsements

From Conservapedia

Trump endorsements is a growing list of candidates Trump endorsed for election. "President Trump is already 10-0 in Republican elections," observed one of his spokesmen in September 2021.[1]

Here's how some have done, and why:

Trump-endorsed Susan Wright, Texas congressional candidate, initially won the primary but then lost 53-47% in the runoff as Democrats likely voted for her opponent Jake Ellzey. The run-off was not a true primary in which Democrats would ordinarily not vote on the Republican side. Rick Perry said that Trump had been “sold a bill of goods” to support Wright rather than Ellzey.[2] Early voting -- which is worse in Texas than most states -- decided this race, and the state representative Ellzey seemed to play that distorting game better in squeaking out a victory.[3]
