Lampi is a small village of 795 hectares in Desuri Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Lampi depends on Sadri, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 31.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Lampi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Lampi's pin code is 306703[4], and village code is 02464600. The area of Lampi is segregated as 72 hectares irrigated area, 268 hectares unirrigated, the 174 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 55 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Lampi is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1051 and has total administration over 210 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 233 (22.17%) males constitute 117 (11.13%) of the population and females 116 (11.04%).
  • Scheduled tribe counts for 85 (8.09%) males constitute 44 (4.19%) of the population and females 41 (3.90%).

The workforce is 241 male, 218 female with 337 (73.42%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 214 males and 123 females. 82 males and 40 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 16 male and 52 female agricultural labor. 122 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sadri and Pali to sell bricks and make their living.
