Fatma Esin Eden (born August 7, 1935) is a Belgian-Turkish relations actress, author, writer and tranlator. She appeared in varoious television series, Theatrical play^[1] and Film known as grandmother in Comedy film Deliha and its sequel Deliha 2.^[2]

Life and education[edit]

Esin Eden was born on August 7, 1935^[3] in Brussels, Belgium. She completed her primary education at Şişli Terakki High School and her secondary and high school education at the American College for Girls ACG Senior College. She graduated at University of Kansas^[4] in United States|USA as a young American lady. She speaks three foreign language including English language|English, French language|French and German language|German. ^[5]

Career[edit]

Her career started in theatre playing different character in several theatrical plays as A Midsummer Night's Dream^[6] (1946), The Seven Poets of Isfahan (1950), Our City (1951), I Remember My Mother (1952), Uludağ (1953), Heritage (1954), Pierre Pathelin (1955), A Marriage (1956), Three Rolled Hats (1957) and There Is A Danger of Collapse in This House (1957) alongside Erol Keskin. Also she has been active in films and television series such as Kapalicarsi (2009 - 2010), Adını Feriha Koydum ^[7](2011), Vicdan (2013 - 2014), Umutsuz Ev Kadınları|Umutsuz Ev Kadinlari ^[8](2011 - 2012) and many more. She is best known for playing the role of grandmother in Netflix comedy film Deliha (2014) and its sequel Deliha 2 (2018).^[9]

Personal life[edit]

Esin Eden married Turkish writer Hilmi Yavuz^[10] in 1964 in London. They have two sons.
