Kotri is a small village of 227 hectares in Amet Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kotri depends on AMET, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 15.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Kotri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Kotri's pin code is 313332[4], and village code is 02988700. The area of Kotri is segregated as 18.3 hectares irrigated area, 23 hectares unirrigated, the 35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 151 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Kotri is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 567 and has total administration over 98 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 175 (30.86%) males constitute 97 (17.11%) of the population and females 78 (13.76%).

According to a census 2011 report, 341 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 203 male, 138 female with 204 (59.82%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 183 males and 21 females. 21 males and 5 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 1 male and 1 female agricultural labor. 137 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of AMET and Rajsamand to sell marbale tiles and make their living.
