Gazipur is a small village of 833 hectares in Naraini Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gazipur depends on JASPURA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gazipur's pin code is 210129[4], and village code is 04780600. The area of Gazipur is segregated as 48 hectares irrigated area, 607 hectares unirrigated area. the 23 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 125 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Gazipur has One post office (Gumanganj B.O). Gazipur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Gazipur is a census village in the district of Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1870 and has total administration over 338 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 513 male, 304 female with 814 (99.63%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 511 males and 303 females. 292 males and 133 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 203 male and 163 female agricultural labor. 3 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of JASPURA and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
