Surf

Surf is a water sport consisting of riding on or along a wave on a surfboard. Surf adepts are called surfers.

History[edit]

Surf might have already existed in Polynesia more than 300 years ago. In 1866, Mark Twain visiting Hawaii described indigenous people, of all sexes et ages, having fun with this national hobby called surf.
