Russian University of Transport (MIIT) (formerly Emperor Nicholas II Moscow State University of Railway Engineering, until 2016 named after Felix Dzerzhinsky) (MIIT), or Russian: Московский государственный университет путей сообщения Императора Николая II (МГУПС (МИИТ), is the leading and largest higher education institution in the field of railway transport in Moscow, Russia , with more than 17,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Every year about 25,000 top managers and specialists take professional development courses at MIIT.[1]
