Faroese Language

From Conservapedia

Faroese (føroyskt) is besides Danish the official language of Faroe Islands. It is one of the most well-preserved languages in the world. The alphabet contains letters not found in the English alphabet, such as æ, ð and þ.

Of all the North Germanic languages, Faroese is the closest to Old Norse, along with Icelandic. A speaker of modern Faroese can read and understand the Old Norse sagas with little difficulty.
