Amber

From Conservapedia

Amber is fossilized resin from prehistoric evergreens. Brownish-yellow and translucent, it is highly valued and can be easily cut and polished for ornamental purposes. Insects have been found encased in amber, and therefore capture a snapshot of life from when it was first created.
