Sahabda is a small village of 364 hectares in Auraiya Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sahabda depends on Auraiya (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Sahabda is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sahabda's pin code is 206122[4], and village code is 04165000. The area of Sahabda is segregated as 313.172 hectares irrigated area, 32.44 hectares unirrigated area. the 2.772 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 32.104 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sahabda has One post office (Sahabda B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Sahabda has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Sahabda is a census village in the district of Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1663 and has total administration over 325 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Sahabda has 254 children, 150 boys and 104 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 973 (58.51%) males constitute 546 (32.83%) of the population and females 427 (25.68%).

The workforce is 498 male, 27 female with 496 (94.48%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 470 males and 26 females. 189 males and 3 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 252 male and 18 female agricultural labor. 29 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Auraiya (MB) and Auraiya to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
