Katehari is a small village of 273.7 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Katehari depends on Phulpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Katehari's pin code is 221503^[4], and village code is 05559000. The area of Katehari is segregated as 170.407 hectares irrigated area, 39.056 hectares unirrigated area.

Katehari has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Katehari is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2704 and has total administration over 470 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phulpur (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
