Westminster Theological Seminary was founded in 1929 by John Gresham Machen as a reaction against Modernism at Princeton Theological Seminary and continues the Fundamentalist school of thought known as Princeton Theology.
In March 27, 2008, its Board of Trustees announced that their professor Peter Enns would be suspended from teaching at the seminary. This followed two years of controversy surrounding his 2005 book Inspiration and Incarnation.[1][2]
