Liguria

From Conservapedia

Liguria is an administrative region of northwestern Italy, its capital and largest city is Genoa. The region is located on the Ligurian Sea and the Gulf of Genvova.

Ligurian Language[edit]

The Ligurian language is a language spoken by the Ligurians in pre-Roman and early Roman times. It is apparently an Indo-European language. Some scholars have maintained that Ligurian is closely related to the Italic and Celtic languages, holding an intermediate linguistic position between them. The language is known primarily from a small number of glosses in classical writings.
