Charles Bass (born January 8, 1952 in Boston, Massachusetts) served as the Republican U.S. Representative from New Hampshire's 2nd congressional district from 1995 though 2007, after being defeated for reelection to the 110th Congress by Democrat Paul Hodes.
Bass was elected to his former seat again in 2010, succeeding Hodes, who retired to run for the U.S. Senate.
