Kurana is a small village of 371.5 hectares in Khair Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Kurana depends on Jatari (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Kurana's pin code is 202137[4], and village code is 01291600. The area of Kurana is segregated as 144.6 hectares irrigated area, the 5.2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 30.68 hectare area not available for cultivation.
The village is connected with a single bus service. Kurana has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Kurana is a census village in the district of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3847 and has total administration over 632 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 2461 (63.97%) males constitute 1344 (34.94%) of the population and females 1117 (29.04%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1362 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 991 male, 371 female with 828 (60.79%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 766 males and 62 females. 290 males and 13 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 272 male and 15 female agricultural labor. 534 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jatari (NP) and Aligarh to sell jaggery and make their living.
