BHAGSAR is a small village of 465 hectares in Vijainagar Tehsil in Ganganagar district, established by Maharaja Ganga Singh and known as one of the first well-planned modern cities of India, and is greatly influenced by the town planning of Paris in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. BHAGSAR depends on RAISINGHNAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. BHAGSAR is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. BHAGSAR's pin code is 335703[4], and village code is 00123000. The area of BHAGSAR is segregated as 88.1 hectares irrigated area, 362 hectares unirrigated, remaining 15 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of RAISINGHNAGAR and Ganganagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
