Incels (derived from the term "involuntarily celibate") are people, generally though not always men, who are frustrated at the fact that they remain celibate, despite not wishing to be so. The movement insults celibacy, despite true celibacy being a virtuous trait. The term is also used as a snarl word by many leftists to deflect from any criticism of feminism.
