The New Mexico Referendum: Number of School Board Members in Large Districts, also known as Constitutional Amendment No. 2, was on the ballot in New Mexico on November 4, 1980, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The referendum allowed for large school districts to have seven elected school board members.[1]
