James Richardson

James Richardson is a Republican political spokesman and press secretary. In 2011, Richardson was a spokesman for Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour's short-lived presidential exploratory campaign for the 2012 Republican nomination. Richardson also served as spokesman for Jon Huntsman.[1] He is currently vice president of public affairs at Hynes Communications.[2]


On September 4, 2014, Richardson wrote an opinion piece in the Washington Post announcing that he was homosexual and advocating same sex marriage.[1][3]
