Rape Jihad

From Conservapedia
The capture and enslavement of women has long been the objectove of jihad.

Rape jihad (Arabic: تحرش جنسي, taharrush jinsi; sexual harassment) refers to the organized abduction, rape and/or enslavement of non-Muslim women or children[1] by adherents of Islam. The term was used as early as 2004 in descriptions of Darfur and [Beslan,[2] and has since been applied to more recent incidents.[3][4][5][6][7] The largest case of rape jihad in Europe was at New Years Evening 2015 in Cologne, Germany.

Justification[edit]

It has been claimed that disparaging attitudes toward non-Muslim women and girls are promoted in some mosques[8] and that sexual predation of them is supported in religious text[9] as a form of sexual slavery sanctioned in Koranic texts, such as suras 4:24 and 33:50, in which sex is permitted with "Ma malakat aymanukum" (captive women).[10]

In its digital magazine, Dabiq, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) explicitly claimed "religious" justification for enslaving Yazidi women (see section following). Specifically, ISIL argued that the Yazidi were idol worshipers and appealed to the shariah practice of spoils of war.[11][12][13][14][15][16][17] ISIL asserts that certain Hadith and Quranic verses support their right to enslave and rape captive non-Muslim women.[14][18][19] ISIL appealed to apocalyptic beliefs and "claimed justification by a Hadith that they interpret as portraying the revival of slavery as a precursor to the end of the world."[20] According to Dabiq, "enslaving the families of the kuffar and taking their women as concubines is a firmly established aspect of the Sharia’s that if one were to deny or mock, he would be denying or mocking the verses of the Qur'an and the narration of the Prophet … and thereby apostatizing from Islam."[18][21] In late 2014 ISIL released a pamphlet that focused on the treatment of female slaves.[22][23][24] It says fighters are allowed to have sex with adolescent girls and to beat slaves as discipline. The pamphlet's guidelines also allow fighters to trade slaves, including for sex, as long as they have not been impregnated by their owner.[22][23][24]

In recent times, those who engage in rape jihad justify and excuse their actions by viewing their victims as little more than "pieces of meat" and by disparaging them and making false claims about their victims' virtue, claiming that their victims "asked for it" even though they did not.[25]

Rape in war[edit]

For a more detailed treatment, see Jihadism.

History[edit]

Rape has accompanied warfare in virtually every known historical era.[26] Mass rape of both women or youths regardless of gender was among the punitive measures that might be taken against captured towns by Greek, Persian, or Roman troops.[27] Female slavery and war rapes were also common during the medieval Arab slave trade, where prisoners of war captured in battle from non-Arab lands often ended up as concubine slaves (who are considered free when their master dies).[28] During the Islamic Golden Age, some Muslim jurists writing on military jurisprudence advocated severe penalties for rebels who use "stealth attacks" and practice abductions, poisoning of water wells, arson, attacks against wayfarers and travellers, assaults under the cover of night and rape.[29]

The Lieber Code of 1863 codified the protection of civilians and stated that "all rape...[is] prohibited under the penalty of death"[30] and subsequent laws of war and humanitarian law have made maltreatment of civilians criminal.[31] Slavery was formally abolished in nearly all countries by the mid 20th century,[32][33] though in the 21st century some Muslim scholars[34] have expressed concern at a "worrying trend" of conservative Salafi Islamic scholars "reopening" the issue of slavery after its "closing" earlier in the 20th century when Muslim countries banned slavery and "most Muslim scholars" found the practice "inconsistent with Qur'anic morality."[35][36]

Siege of Vienna[edit]

During the Siege of Vienna of 1683 historical accounts report men were slaughtered by Turkish Muslims and women raped.[37]

1971 Bangladesh Liberation War[edit]

An estimated 400,000 Bangladeshi women were raped by the Pakistani Army during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. Most of the rape victims were Hindu women. [38][39]

ISIL[edit]

See: Iraq insurgency

In 2014, the ISIL raided Yazidi settlements in Iraq, massacring the men and selling the women into sexual slavery.[40]

Amidst news that ISIL executed 19 girls[41] the following document was revealed - a translation[notes 1] of an actual, UN-verified[42] DAESH "pricing menu" aimed at discerning militant shoppers on the lookout for additional rape-slaves;

We have received news that the demand in Women and Cattle market has sharply decreased and that will affect Islamic State revenues as well as the funding of mujahideen in the battlefield, therefore we have made some changes. Below are the prices for Yazidi and Christian women.

The price for Yazidi or Christian women between the age of 40 - 50 is $43 (£27)

$75 (£48) for 30 to 40-year-olds

$86 (£55) for 20 to 30-year-olds

$130 (£83) for ten to 20-year-olds

$172 (£110) for one to nine-year-olds

Customers are allowed to purchase only three items with the exception of customers from Turkey, Syria and Gulf countries.

Dated and sealed by ISIS in Iraq October 16, 2014.

Buyers beware of your rights ("only three items per customer!") as the document contains no money back or return policy for if when these women have been driven past the point of self-mutilation and suicide. The DAESH clerical promise that Allah condones this practice will simply "have to do" in terms of additional benefits for the poor militants.

Hillary Clinton did nothing to protect the lives and safety of 276 Christian girls kidnapped by Boko Haram and sold as sex slaves, despite multiple agency requests. The Obama administration furnished the same organization SAM-7 missiles capable of shooting down commercial and military aircraft.[43]

Although the above document was verified by a senior UN official, blogger and the Middle East Forum fellow Aymenn Jawad Al-Tamimi argued that the document may be a forgery.[44] However, Yazidi rights activist Nadia Murad gave a first-person account of gang rape (euphemistically called "sexual jihad") and of women and girls as young as 10-years old being sold as sex slaves.[45]

Boko Haram[edit]

In April 2014, during a raid on Chibok, Boko Haram, an Islamic Jihadist and terrorist organization based in northeast Nigeria, took prisoner several hundred Christian schoolgirls, who, after efforts to secure their release were ineffective, were sold in slave auctions to prospective husbands and forcibly converted to Islam.[46][47][48] In May, a video in which Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau claimed responsibility for the kidnappings emerged; he claimed, "Allah instructed me to sell them...I will carry out his instructions."[49] and "Slavery is allowed in my religion, and I shall capture people and make them slaves."[50] He said the girls should not have been in school and instead should have been married since girls as young as nine are suitable for marriage.[49][50]

Hillary Clinton refused to place Boko Haram on the Obama State Department's list of foreign terrorist organizations. The refusal came despite the urging of the Justice Department, the FBI, the CIA, and over a dozen Senators and Congressmen.[51] Placing Boko Haram on the State Department's terrorist list would then give legal authority to the CIA or FBI to act.

Darfur[edit]

For a more detailed treatment, see Rape during the Darfur genocide.
Throughout the ongoing genocide in the Darfur war in Sudan, there has been a systematic campaign of rape,[2] which has been used as a weapon of war, in the ethnic cleansing of black Africans from the region.Template:SfnTemplate:SfnTemplate:Sfn The majority of rapes have been carried out by the Sudanese government forces and the Janjaweed ("evil men on horseback")Template:Sfn paramilitary groups.Template:SfnTemplate:Sfn The actions of the Janjaweed have been described as genocidal rape, with not just women, but children also being raped, as well as babies being bludgeoned to death and the sexual mutilation of victims being commonplace.Template:SfnTemplate:Sfn

Rape of Afghanistan[edit]

Joe Biden, author of the Violence Against Women Act, abandoned the women and girls of Afghanistan to the Taliban rape jihad.

On July 8, 2021, Joe Biden said from the White House, "I trust the capacity of the Afghan military, who is better trained, better equipped, and more competent in terms of conducting war."[52] CNN reported that on July 12, 2021 the Taliban knocked on the door of a mother of four in a small village in northern Afghanistan. They were demanding food. The mother told them, "I am poor, how can I cook for you?" The Taliban beat her to death.[53] Less than a month later, White House chief propagandists Jen Psaki said "The Taliban has to make an assessment about what they want their role to be in the international community." Her comments came as reports flowed in of Taliban fighters going door-to-door and forcibly selecting girls as young as 12 to reward as brides for the victorious jihadis.[54] In Takhar province, the Taliban shot and killed a woman when she went out in public without a burqa.[55]

Taliban commanders, after capturing some of the provincial capitals, ordered local Imams to bring the lists of unmarried women aged from 12 to 45 for their soldiers to marry as they view them as ‘qhanimat’ or ‘spoils of war’. The Taliban intends to “distribute ” these kids and women among themselves as Jihadists consider them as a ‘prize’.[56]

The Taliban went door-to-door taking women and children. The people must mark their house with an “X” if they have a girl over 12 years old, so that the Taliban can take them. If they find a young girl and the house was not marked they will execute the entire family. If a married woman 25 years or older was found, the Taliban promptly kill her husband, do whatever they want to her, and then sell her as a sex slave.[57]

According to a female refugee in India who worked in the police force in Afghanistan, as reported by OpIndia.com, the Taliban has sex with dead bodies.[58] The woman said in an interview, "If you go to work, you are under threat, your family is under threat. After one warning, they would stop giving any warning. They rape dead bodies too. They don’t care whether the person is dead or alive.[59]

Child sexual exploitation[edit]

UK grooming cases[edit]

See also: Grooming gang

Widespread organized child sexual abuse took place in many places throughout England, dating from 1997,[1][10][60][61][62] in which it was conservatively estimated that 1,400 children had been sexually abused in the city, predominantly by gangs of British-Pakistani men. Abuses described included abduction, rape, torture and sex trafficking of children.[61][63][64][65][66][67]

In one UK city alone, 1,400 non-Muslim girls were groomed, raped, trafficked, and drugged between 1997 and 2013 while those in authority failed to act. The police have been accused of ignoring sex abuse claims because of political correctness and fear of accusation of racism, as well as allegedly blaming some child victims.[68] Leftist organizations waged relentless war against anyone who spoke out about Muslim rape gangs. Victims and critics were demonized as "Islamophobic," “hateful” and “bigoted.”[69]

UK police, who turned a blind eye to Pakastani rape culture and blamed victims,[70] have urged the public to report ‘non-crime’ incidents in an effort to stop non-criminal comments from hurting the feelings of those affected. The message sent out by the official Twitter account of South Yorkshire Police said, “In addition to reporting hate crime, please report non-crime hate incidents, which can include things like offensive or insulting comments, online, in person or in writing.”[71] So, while rape and murder of ethnic Brits by Muslim immigrants is ignored, the UK police do have time to investigate non-crimes and harass native citizens.

Racist and misogynistic motivation[edit]

Adherents of Islam who engage in rape jihad are frequently motivated by racism and misogyny in their attacks on women (particularly white women), in efforts to humiliate them in perverse and disgusting fashion and to bring them down below their level - a tactic which dates back to the time of Mohammed, who directed his followers to engage in such behavior.[25] Because of the racially and ideologically motivated efforts of leftist politicians in the United Kingdom, other European countries and Australia to go out of their way to make Islam a "protected class" (including by allowing its adherents to do as they please and not prosecuting them, or even arresting them, for crimes they commit), women in those countries have been doubly victimized by both Islamic rapists and by leftist criminals in public office who provide cover for the rapists.
