Santa Rosa

From Conservapedia

Santa Rosa is a liberal city located in California, about 60 miled north of San Francisco. With a population of about 150,000, it is the largest city in Sonoma County. Santa Rosa is governed by a seven-member elected city council, which includes the mayor and vice-mayor.[1]

Santa Rosa is famous for being the long time residence of Peanuts cartoonist Charles Schulz. The Charles M. Schulz Museum is maintained there in honor of him.[2] It is also the location of the former home of horticulturist Luther Burbank. The Luther Burbank Home and Gardens, located near downtown Santa Rosa, is maintained as a museum by the City.[3] Santa Rosa and the surrounding area was the filming location for much of the 1960 Disney film Pollyanna. The McDonald Mansion, located near the center of town, served as the exterior of Aunt Polly's house.
