Gaderi is a small village of 2008 hectares in Bhopalgarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gaderi depends on Pipar City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Gaderi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gaderi's pin code is 342603[4], and village code is 01948800. The area of Gaderi is segregated as 758 hectares irrigated area, 982.74 hectares unirrigated, the 139 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 128 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Gaderi has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Gaderi is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1855 and has total administration over 313 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Gaderi has 287 children, 145 boys and 142 girls.
  • Scheduled caste counts for 447 (24.10%) males constitute 216 (11.64%) of the population and females 231 (12.45%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pipar City and Jodhpur to sell ghee and make their living.
