Duns

From Conservapedia

Duns is a small market town in Berwickshire, Scotland. In 1904 it became the county town of Berwickshire, having progressively wrested county functions from its neighbour, Greenlaw. Duns was the birthplace of the celebrated Franciscan theologian and philosopher John Duns Scotus, whose name was the origin of the epithet 'dunce'. Duns itself was spelled Dunse until the nineteenth century.
