Nakha is a small village of 390.8 hectares in Nanpara Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nakha depends on BARDAHA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply which is 2.00% of the total supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Nakha's pin code is 271830[4], and village code is 06456200. The area of Nakha is segregated as 452.24 hectares irrigated area, 113.05 hectares unirrigated area. the 47.34 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 4.67 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nakha is a census village in the district of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 5271 and has total administration over 896 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 997 (18.91%) males constitute 532 (10.09%) of the population and females 465 (8.82%).

The workforce is 1356 male, 147 female with 764 (50.83%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 705 males and 59 females. 319 males and 22 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 138 male and 15 female agricultural labor. 739 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BARDAHA and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
