A College School District bond proposition, Measure Y ballot question was on the November 4, 2014 election ballot for voters in the College School District in Santa Barbara County, California. It was defeated.

Measure Y would have authorized the district to increase its debt by $12 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount.[1]

District voters rejected a similar $12 million dollar bond issue in 2012 under Measure K.

A 55 percent supermajority vote was required for the approval of Measure Y.

To better integrate school facilities with an academic program that supports science, technology, engineering and math (STEAM) initiative by constructing new classrooms and making necessary improvements to existing classrooms and laboratories and support facilities for visual and performing arts, provide improved access to 21st century technology to support $12,000,000 in bonds at legal interest rates, with an independent Citizens' Oversight Committee, and annual audits? (quote)
