Gazipur is a small village of 938 hectares in Atrauli Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Gazipur depends on Atrauli (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Gazipur's pin code is 202280[4], and village code is 01331800. The area of Gazipur is segregated as 852 hectares irrigated area, 41 hectares unirrigated, remaining 45 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Gazipur has One post office (Ghazipur B.O). Gazipur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Gazipur is a census village in the district of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3926 and has total administration over 681 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 1286 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 968 male, 318 female with 907 (70.53%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 816 males and 91 females. 516 males and 56 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 168 male and 14 female agricultural labor. 379 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Atrauli (MB) and Aligarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
