Mesivta Melbourne is based on the teachings and philosophy of the Chabad Lubavitch movement, and it attracts students from all over Melbourne, Sydney and beyond.[1] Their rigorous schedule involves hours of deep Talmud discussion, while also covering ground in Hasidic Judaism.[2] The alumni of Mesivta usually go on to futher Torah education, such as Yeshivah Gedolah Zal. Many Alumni become Chabad Shluchim, and go on to lead Jewish communities worldwide.

At least once a year, Mesivta puts out a Kovetz Heroes, a journal of articles submitted by the students of Mesivta on various topics regarding Jewish law and Hasidic Judaism.[4]
