Karjiya is a small village of 446 hectares in Reodar Tehsil in Sirohi district in the State of Rajasthan, India.^[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Karjiya depends on ABU ROAD, the nearest town for all major economic activities.^[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Karjiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Karjiya's pin code is 307026^[4], and village code is 02386800. The area of Karjiya is segregated as 81.4 hectares irrigated area, 53.1 hectares unirrigated, the 39.5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 272.3 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Karjiya is a census village in the district of Sirohi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 532 and has total administration over 1006 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

• Scheduled tribe counts for 464 (87.22%) males constitute 415 (78.01%) of the population and females 215 (40.41%).

According to a census 2011 report, 237 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 241 male, 250 female with 192 (81.01%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 58 males and 201 females. 47 males and 14 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 7 males. 45 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of ABU ROAD and Sirohi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
