Personal protective equipment commonly referred to as "PPE", is gear that is utilized to avoid injury with hazards in the workplace or emergency situations. Typical equipment includes respiratory masks, gas masks, face shields, hazmat suits, safety goggles, gloves, boots, coveralls, earplugs, and safety harnesses.
