Nehri is a small village of 401 hectares in Hindoli Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nehri depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Nehri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nehri's pin code is 323025[3], and village code is 02701800. The area of Nehri is segregated as 70 hectares irrigated area, 56 hectares unirrigated, the 179 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 96 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Nehri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Nehri is a census village in the district of Bundi, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 586 and has total administration over 112 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
- Nehri has 97 children, 43 boys and 54 girls.
- Scheduled caste counts for 64 (10.92%) males constitute 33 (5.63%) of the population and females 31 (5.29%).

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 313 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 162 male, 151 female with 118 (37.7%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 102 males and 16 females. 101 males and 13 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 2 female agricultural labor. 195 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
