Insurgency

From Conservapedia

An insurgency is usually defined as a state of revolt against established authority. It is generally considered to be more organized and widespread than a cabal or an underground movement. Contemporary examples can be found in Afghanistan and Iraq, where several insurgent groups are fighting the established government. An insurgency does not have to refer to armed revolt. The term is also used in political circles to describe dissent within a political party.[1]
