The Alabama Madison County Bingo Amendment, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Alabama on September 17, 1980, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. It proposed that nonprofit organizations in Madison County could hold legal bingo games for charitable or educational purposes.[1]
