Questia is an online library that operates as a subscription service for private individuals and homeschoolers. It holds the full texts of 67,000 scholarly books and textbooks, and 1.5 million journal and magazine articles. It specializes in reference materials from the humanities and social sciences.

There is some free material available, including 6000 subject bibliographies, the table of contents and the first page of each chapter, and some books. Complex text searches are also free.

Troy Williams founded Questia in 1998 and has served as its president & CEO.

Private subscriptions are available at a range of prices, from $10 a month to $100 a year, for full access for anyone.
