Madadih is a small village of 573.9 hectares in Ballia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Madadih depends on Sahatwar (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply which is 1.50% of the total supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Madadih's pin code is 277402[4], and village code is 09241400. The area of Madadih is segregated as 301.5 hectares irrigated area, 100.86 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 20 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Madadih has One post office (Baghaunch B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Madadih has One bank and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Madadih is a census village in the district of Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 11422 and has total administration over 1718 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

- Scheduled caste counts for 1720 (15.06%) males constitute 934 (8.18%) of the population and females 786 (6.88%).

According to a census 2011 report, 3068 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 2158 male, 910 female with 1949 (63.53%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 1519 males and 430 females. 158 males and 34 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 901 male and 68 female agricultural labor. 1119 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sahatwar (NP) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
