An Oakwood City Tax Levy Increase measure is on the May 7, 2013 election ballot in Montgomery County, which is in Ohio.

If approved, this proposition authorizes the City of Oakwood to increase property taxes by 3.75 mill ($3.75 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years to help fund city operations and alleviate the loss of state funding.

According to the, Director of Finance Cindy Stafford this tax would raise $1.06 million a year in revenue.[1]
