Monument

A monument is an structure created to commemorate a person or an important event of historic value or cultural heritage or as a focus for memory of something. The word comes from the Latin "monere," which means "to remind". Main types of monuments are: Statues, Obelisks, Triumphal arches, Memorials structures, Mausoleums and Columns. Certain mills, churches and chapels could also be included.
