Sanda is a small village of 61 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sanda depends on KATHARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river,. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sanda's pin code is 221503[4], and village code is 05572100. The area of Sanda is segregated as 47 hectares irrigated area, 4 hectares unirrigated area. the 5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Sanda has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Sanda is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1008 and has total administration over 129 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

  • Scheduled caste counts for 36 (3.57%) males constitute 19 (1.88%) of the population and females 17 (1.69%).

The workforce is 186 male, 259 female with 316 (71.01%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 142 males and 174 females. 50 males and 62 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 4 male and 6 female agricultural labor. 129 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KATHARA and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
