Clue (Board Game)

Clue (Cluedo in Britain and abroad) is a detective board game made by Parker Brothers, a division of Hasbro.

How to Play[edit]

The object of the game is to correctly suggest and prove, through elimination, who murdered Mr. Boddy (Dr. Black in Britain), with which weapon, and in which room.

Up to six players select their suspects, which must be the one closest to the player. After the suspects are selected, one player takes a suspect card, a weapon card, and a room card and puts them in a solution envelope, which is put in the center of the board. The remaining cards are then dealt clockwise to the players.

The Board and The Rooms[edit]

The board is set to look like a mansion, titled "Tudor Mansion" in recent editions, or "Tudor Close" in the British versions. There are ten rooms on the board, which are:

The Kitchen and Study are connected by a "secret passage", as are the Lounge and Conservatory, allowing a player to move to the opposite corner of the board.
