Prohibition Party

From Conservapedia

The Prohibition Party is a political party in the United States, founded in 1869, which still exists today. The Prohibition Party favors the prohibition of the manufacture, sale, and use of alcoholic beverages. The party had some minor success including electing a member of the U.S. Congress and a governor of Florida, but was never a major political party despite seeing its main goal come to pass, the enactment of the Eighteenth Amendment in 1919. The 18th Amendment was repealed in 1933.
