Peeri is a small village of 119 hectares in Karchhana Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Peeri depends on BRAWN, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Peeri's pin code is 212307[4], and village code is 05538300. The area of Peeri is segregated as 48 hectares irrigated area, remaining 0.11 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Peeri has One post office (Khain S.O) and One public telephone. Peeri has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Peeri is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2457 and has total administration over 369 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

Employment[edit]
According to a census 2011 report, 1078 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 656 male, 422 female with 626 (58.07%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 409 males and 217 females. 154 males and 39 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 137 male and 94 female agricultural labor. 452 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BRAWN and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
