Oklahoma City Thunder

From Conservapedia

The Oklahoma City Thunder are a professional basketball team based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The franchise was previously known as the Seattle Supersonics until they relocated in 2008 after the city of Seattle refused to build a new arena with taxpayer money. However, as part of the relocation agreement, all franchise records of the Supersonics (including its only NBA championship in 1979) did not come with the relocated franchise (similar to the arrangement when the NFL's original Cleveland Browns franchise relocated to Baltimore and became the Ravens).

The Thunder have made the NBA Finals in 1978, 1979, 1996, and 2012. They have only won in 1979, giving them a title drought of 41 years.
