Muainpur is a small village of 18.5 hectares in Jalalpur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Muainpur depends on Jalalpur (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Muainpur's pin code is 224125[4], and village code is 06081900. The area of Muainpur is segregated as 14 hectares irrigated area, 1 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 3 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Muainpur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalalpur (MB) and Ambedkar Nagar to sell jaggery and make their living.
