ISIS beheading conspiracy theories are a series of War on Terror conspiracy theories that question the authenticity of DAESH's (ISIS) execution videos. The purpose is to argue that DAESH's white victims are all crisis actors hired to disprove allegations that DAESH is actually an American-led organization. As with other crisis actor 'theories', proponents see executions not being as bloody as in movies as proof, or that the victims are not behaving as the proponent would expect.

In 2014, feminist author and political adviser Naomi WolfWikipedia repeatedly claimed on Facebook that DAESH execution videos were faked with crisis actors, including the execution of well-known journalist James Foley.Wikipedia[1]

Complicating matters, a particular beheading video was known to have been faked. It was created by Benjamin Vanderford who faked his own beheading at the time that he was running for San Francisco's Board of Supervisors.[2]
