Samaha is a small village of 129 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Samaha depends on Handia (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Samaha's pin code is 221503[4], and village code is 05611500. The area of Samaha is segregated as 66 hectares irrigated area, 32 hectares unirrigated area. the 17 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 14 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Samaha is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1377 and has total administration over 185 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 354 male, 425 female with 577 (74.07%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 273 males and 304 females. 97 males and 27 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 115 male and 234 female agricultural labor. 202 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Handia (NP) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
