U.S. Special Operations Forces

U.S. Special Operations Forces refers to the U.S. Army's elite fighting force, The Green Berets. All Department of Defense branches have special forces components including the Navy, Air Force, and Marines. they are known for their exceptional toughness, highly educated and heavily armed, the Special Operation Forces are a critical component to infiltrate hostile areas and neutralize high valued targets. Division hierarchy, United States Special Operations Command or SOCOM.

Command Mission[edit]

Joint Special Operations University[edit]

Located at Hurlbult Field Florida, it is available to all active duty, reserve, and civilian faculty members. Its purpose, to educate Special Operations Forces executive, senior, and intermediate leaders and selected other national and international security decision-makers, both military and civilian.
