Masarhi is a small village of 226 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Masarhi depends on KATHARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Masarhi's pin code is 221508[4], and village code is 05573200. The area of Masarhi is segregated as 142 hectares irrigated area, 26 hectares unirrigated area. the 25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 33 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Masarhi is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 4539 and has total administration over 675 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KATHARA and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
